I cannot believe it is August. July has never came and gone so quick!! We’ve had a wonderful month of fishing, a couple adventures and more! Apparently all that caused for little time to blog so lets catch up.
The twins school called me back in June and asked if I had considered ever teaching or working for an MDO program. Honestly, I haven’t even considered it. I have been working on my Etsy shop so much and getting orders completed, I haven’t considered taking a job. After lots of thinking, praying and more thinking; I decided I would at least go to the interview and talk about what could be. Before the interview, I took a picture of my OOT with my new selfie stick, that by the way I am in love with and so are my kids, and I got a little Jocelynn photo bomb in there too.
We’ve been surviving on lots of Popsicles lately!! Have you?? When it is hot, it is hot. I’m talking what feels like %200 humidity at 100 degrees. I might be exaggerating a bit but it has been so hot in July. We had a few nice windy days last week and a few cool nights to go with it but the heat came back full force today.
In the beginning of June, Jocelynn was scared to even get in the pool and swim. Now? She is jumping in by herself, swimming and even doing flips without her puddle jumper! JP has come a long way too. I am so proud of them! They start swim lessons tomorrow and I cant wait to see what they accomplish in the next two weeks!
July brought a lot of fishing, cruising in the boat and sunset dinners on lay lake! This picture was taken at our friends restaurant, the barefoot grill, on lay lake. We played horse shoes, danced, ate some good food and enjoyed each others company until it was past our bedtime!
I love watching my babies get a long.. when they do get a long.
JP had dental work done a couple of weeks ago. He had a small hole in one of his bottom teeth, where the enamel didn’t cover it, so it formed a cavity. They fixed it and crowned it and JP is quite convinced it gave him super powers. He has even tried flying since then. He thinks he can fly and we all act like its amazing but he does a huge jump on to our chaise in the den and that’s what his flying is;) Whatever floats your boat baby boy.
Jocelynn had her dental work done last week. Just a few “sticky spots” we went ahead and got fixed before they would turn into something bad. Now kids, that’s enough with the dentist trips!
I have some more funny videos and pictures I want to catch up on from July. It was jam packed and we did a lot of things but dang it went by so fast!!
July brought so many wonderful memories and I will hold them forever in my heart. Or in my computer since that’s how I remember most things now days. But I will always remember the feelings of happiness from making great memories with our babies.
