I think ill be able to get the rest of our trip into this (and hopefully) final post.
My sister and her family were down there with us and I’m sad to say that these are the only pictures I got of Charlie. Jocelynn and JP were absolutely crazy about him and he was quite fond of them too;) They all ran around 24/7 so it was hard getting a picture of them all. Jocelynn decided she wasn’t going to take a nap one day so her and Charlie played on the floor instead!
One thing Charlie did teach Jocelynn and Jp was how to slide! They loved his slide and played with it so much! We might need to get them one of those!
Charlie was so sweet and let us borrow his wagon so we could take the babies for a walk. Maddie fell asleep before we even started walking! We were walking around looking at all of the big boats and guess what we saw? A gator! It jumped in the bay as we walked up on him/her. I didn’t know gators were in the bay? The babies laughed and thought it was cool.
Later on we took the babies to lunch at Shuckum’s! It was delicious and the babies thought so too! Jocelynn discovered the salt shaker at lunch though and let me tell ya.. that was fun.
After lunch we took the babies to Gulf World. They’ve never sat thru a show or a movie before so I wasn’t sure how they would act but they did amazingly. We watched a dolphin/sea lion show and the babies kept clapping, laughing, screaming and making the best facial expressions. It made me melt. It was absolutely adorable. I don’t have any pictures of JP because Matt held him and didn’t catch any!
I might have lied about this being a short post because I just realized we have so much more to talk about. Oh well. We went for ice cream after the show at Marble slab creamery. I love marble slab!
What’s that you ask? The result of a full day of fun? I can answer that in a picture..
We stayed at the condo that night and cooked steaks and played in the pool. I love the “down time” nights at the beach. They are probably my favorites.
The next day we enjoyed more nice weather, Pier park and then went to dinner at a very nice restaurant. I cant remember the name though? Whoops. The service was wonderful. They even brought out the babies food as soon as it got done. There was only one problem with that… by the time we got our food they were ready to go. So we did what any other parent would do (probably just us) and ordered chocolate cake and ice cream. They ate so good so I wanted to reward them anyways;) Lets just say it bought us time to eat or dinner and then some..
One more thing before I wrap this post up. I know I haven’t shown many pics of Maddie but she was with my mom a good bit of the trip. She did turn 3 months while we were down there and I took some pics of her on her “bday”
I love the bug eyes hah. Isn’t she beautiful? Mommy is sorry Maddie for not taking a ton of pictures of you on your first beach trip but your sister is very jealous and has been since your arrival. Mommy had to spend some alone time with her to help her but don’t worry me and you will get plenty of time and I take pictures of you everyday. Mommy loves you darling.
