I found a recipe a while back for this. I’m not sure where I found it, probably Pinterest, but it looked so good to me. I started reading the recipe and thought “hhmm, theres no way thats good” but I cooked them a couple of nights ago and everyone went back for seconds! I love finding a good different side to get us out of the ordinary.
How amazing do these look? Believe me, they taste amazing too.
- Cream Cheese
- Can of Crescent Rolls (I used the big buttery ones)
- 1 egg beaten
- Parmesan Cheese
Heat oven to 350.
First thing is first, roll out the crescent rolls onto a sprayed cookie sheet. You can separate them or keep them together for the next part but I found it easier to separate mine because only 8 came in the bigger can. Spread the cream cheese onto the crescent roll. The original recipe said to do a generous spreading of it but I didn’t because I wasn’t sure how it would taste. So this part is up to you.
Then take your asparagus, I used two spears in each roll but you can use as many or less as you want, put on the fatter end of the crescent and roll up.
Take the beaten egg and brush it on top of the crescent and sprinkle parmesan immediately so it will stick.
Cook until crescents are golden brown and mouth starts watering!!
