Wednesdays are good days here and it all starts with the trash man, or “twash-man”. I let them all walk out on the porch to see the trash man pick up our trash. He honks at them every time and just seeing that makes their day. Its precious.
Happy Saturday everyone!! I can’t believe it is the end of the week. This week just flew by and I can’t say that I am not glad. We started it out with a bang. And by bang, I mean HFM. Hand, foot and oh yes, mouth. They should just call HFM “the devil”. Because that’s what it is. It is the devil. For some odd reason we seem to get it twice a year every year since the twins entered this world. It wasn’t terrible this time. They all handled the pain and fever really well. It also didn’t last as long this time, which made me extremely happy. The last time the twins had it, Maddie had just been born and I swear it was two weeks before they felt any better. This time I kept them out of school on Tuesday just to be sure but they were %100 by Wednesday so I let them go to school on Thursday.
I keep telling myself I am going to get back in the habit of blogging and I know I say it.every.single.post. It must be getting on your nerves because it is mine. Truth is I am still finding time. I love blogging and I love connecting with other moms and I will find the time.
To get me to where I want to blog again, I feel like I should catch us up on all the happenings in the past weeks.
A couple of Sunday’s ago we took the kids bream fishing! They love anything that involves a fishing rod and fish and gross crickets. My little miss Maddie acting all big, carried the cricket container down to the pier all by herself. I thought it was so funny. In the back of my head I was really thinking “I need to push her down. She is just growing way too fast”. And she is. She wants to do everything the twins do. We even get comments of how people think they are all triplets now.
After bream fishing we went to papaws to eat dinner!
My mom has been up a couple of times in the past few weeks. The last time she came, she kept Maddie while I went to Costco (heaven) and ate lunch with my friend, Lindsay. I love meeting up with my girl! She is one of many of the girls I have met through social media and have formed a life long friendship with. Love her to pieces.
Jocelynn is shining lately. I mean literally shining. So full of life, talking up a storm and all of the above. She tells me about her days at school and its incredible to actually have a conversation with her now. She is so smart. She is even the translator for JP when I can’t understand him sometimes;)
I got my hair done again! I went for a “fall” look this time and added some deep red. Its actually purple but I am just going to call it red. I took off another inch or two too! I love having short hair. Its so much easier with the kids and being able to get ready in a short amount of time.
Jocelynn didn’t nap one day last week and Matt was about to leave to go to the hunting club to plant green fields. Well, Jocelynn didn’t let him leave without taking her. She went with him and me, Maddie and JP went after they woke up from their naps. Matt said Jocelynn is the best child ever hah. She really is.. so patient, smart and kind. All of the kids had a blast and to be honest I love raising them in this kind of life, you know the country life. I snapped this picture of my baby girl loving on her daddy.
After eating dinner last night the kids thought it would be a good idea to jump on daddy! I love Matt so much. I can’t even begin to tell you how good of a dad he is because there are no words. I am so blessed to have this man as my baby daddy because he is truly a remarkable father.
Well, that’s it for now! (Or i think;) Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
