Shortly after Christmas, on December 30th, we celebrated our beautiful twin blessings turning 4! Jocelynn and JP are FOUR! Yes, I have cried about it, many times. They act so grown compared to just a year ago. I know thats how it is suppose to go but seriously? The way they walk, the way they talk, the way they are just them; its insane to me how fast they change in such a short amount of time. I know they are suppose to grow with age and do new things but all I can think of right now is wwwhhhyyyy?? My precious babies, who we tried years for and prayed for every night are four years old. They make me feel so blessed each and every day.
The twins with their Aunt Jill! They love her so much. I wonder if they remember her coming over to help me when they were just little babies? She was there for me whenever I needed her and I think thats why they are so close to her. We love you Aunt Jill!
We started doing their birthday party during the summer time but we still invite close friends and family over for their birthday day. No presents, no pressure. Just all get together with cake and ice cream to celebrate them coming of age. This year was extra special since my mom and dad were able to come. Dad was still in town and moomoo lives practically right down the road so that made Jocelynn and JP very happy!
I told you we don’t do presents, right? You think that is going to stop my sweet momma? Nope. She brought Jocelynn and JP each a present and Maddie too. The sweetest woman that I have looked up to my entire life. Plus, how are you going to argue with your own momma about spoiling her grandkids? You just don’t.
She bought Jocelynn some hoop earrings, which Jocelynn has been wanting for quite some time to look like her moo-moo. I have to say she looks beautiful in them too.
JP got a new WII U game. Kung Fu Panda fighting game and that child already rocks that game.
I usually do a Public birthday cake for their little birthday day celebrations but I found a new bakery right in Chelsea, Al one day. Pretty reasonable and the nicest people, the twins told them they wanted Minnie and Mickey cakes so we did two different ones for them. I was very impressed! Notice that number 4 candle!!!
We had a full house of all of the close people that love our littles. We played a few games and ate pizza then birthday cake of course! But not before singing! That is their favorite part;) I think you can obviously guess what favorite part is Maddie Rae’s? Yup, eating the cake and icing! She enjoys her cake just like her momma does!
Thank you all for the sweet birthday wishes for them on IG and all the family and friends who came to celebrate their little lives!
