We’ve had a great week and weekend with our sweet babies!
It all started when one day last week we decided, out of the blue, to go to the trampoline park to play! Locals; this place is in Inverness and called Airwalk. SO FUN. We only jumped for 30 minutes but it was enough for all of us. My pains haven’t been all that bad lately so I enjoyed jumping with Matt and the babies too. After jumping we made a quick run to Academy. Daddy needed some fishing supplies and we ended up getting all the babies a new pair of tennis shoes. They desperately needed them considering the last pair I bought them was a year ago for $9.99 on Zulily.
Thursday the twins didn’t nap so we decided to do a little family fishing after Maddie woke up from her nap. Jocelynn and JP love fishing. Maddie does too but she isn’t old enough to actually fish yet, so she plays in the bottom of the boat with her bubble guppies. We didn’t catch any but we had a blast!
The weather has been just beautiful this weekend so we took advantage of it. Saturday morning we took the babies down the river to try and catch crappy. We fished for THREE hours and JP stayed at it the whole time. That boy, y’all. He is just like his daddy. Loves to fish and lives for it. He stood the whole time, threw his line, reeled it in and then did it all over again. He would take an occasional break to eat a bite of his sandwich or a couple strawberries and then fish some more. Lets just say the fishing got to baby boy. When we got back in the truck to head home, he was out before we put the truck in gear.
Yesterday my sweet friend, Jill, came over and played with us!! It was 78 and sunny so we did most of our playing outside! They enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with their aunt Jill. We ate Popsicle’s and enjoyed the sunshine. Ive missed my best friend and it was so nice to spend some time with her. She’s been there for me from the beginning with the twins and some days I probably wouldn’t have been able to survive or do it without her. Very thankful for that girl! We love you Aunt Jill!!
Hoping our weather continues to be this gorgeous!! I could definitely get use to the hot days again!!
